This is a heavy weight leather belt styled after the classic military loop rifle sling. Every high power rifle competition shooter is familiar with it. We cut, dye, and finish our own leather straps, then rivet on a Brownell’s Competitor Plus steel sling hook. Each belt is hand dyed, hand rubbed and finished with Neatsfoot oil. Seven Seas Canvas is now hiring. We are looking for motivated individuals with commercial sewing experience and an eye for detail. Ex military riggers and boatswains mates in the Portland area are encouraged to apply.
Duties to include, but not limited to:
Sewing of various materials to include heavy nylon, canvas and vinyl
Ability to lift heavy items
Repetitive use of hands and arms
Ability to bend, stoop and stand for extended periods of time
Clear communication skills
Dependable
Multi-tasking
Ability to use tape measure and scissors
